Since i already posted the video version of this, it’s time to give you guys the blog version!!!
gear refinement is additional content added in the game when the update went live.
So to get started, the first thing you need to know about Gear refinement is; this will only be available when you reach level 280 and above. Players that are 279 and below start leveling so you can give this a try 🙂
if you don’t have enough items to refine your stats, it is always best to focus on the gears that has the attributes you guys want to increase, for example: you know that you are lacking on magical defense (M DEF), then start refining the gear that has that attribute on it. You may slowly increase it one gear at a time depending on what you personally need.
i seriously enjoy refining, it’s like gambling with your stats ahahaha but a little safer since you have the option to save it if you like it or ignore if you don’t enchantment stone can also be looted with some top up events, but since most of us (I’m including myself don’t object) prefer not spending in game, you may get it in lost tower, those purple chest i open at the start of my weekday livestream. OR you may get it in ABYSSAL REALM, there is this event called PHANTOM MONASTERY (12:30 and 18:00 GMT +7 everyday) that last for 1 hour each time it opens. Enchantment stones are only given on your first entry, the next entry your reward will just be fame and EXP ( not bad right? )if you end getting bad stats, don’t worry you can just ignore it and refine again 🙂 ( cool right?)so keep on farming and save the materials you need, so that if you get unlucky you still have some spare bullets to keep trying 🙂

many players like me struggle to understand the skills that they have… in most cases we are often left with a question in our mind like:
“which skill is best to use?”
“do I need to buy this ultimacy?”
“how do you get the ultimacies that you can’t buy in warrior shop?”
all these questions that are sometimes hard to answer on your own. don’t worry I’m here to guide you 🙂
The first thing you need to know is your complete skill list:
each hero has 8 skills and each skill has 2 ultimacies giving us a total of 16 ultimacies.
let’s talk about archers first.
I usually don’t rush when I buy stuff in the game, focus first on the ultimacy that you can easily buy. I’m talking about the one in the warrior shop. buy all of those first but check every now and then in the alliance auction for the other ultimacies. if I had to pick between all the ultimacy, i guess the first one I bought was “DIVINE GLARE“, because I wanted to be useful to my team during team fights and then I bought “PYRO HOLOCAUST” so that I can set a trap and continuously damage my enemies and that also helps me dodge deadly attack coming from my enemies. then I bought “RAIN OF ARROWS” because of the AOE (area of effect) since I was focused on leveling up, that is why I bought this ultimacy to kill mobs in a larger area. The rest will be up to you 🙂 buy the ultimacy that will work perfectly for the gameplay you want, either PVP or PVE.
now let me show you more information about Black Knight (BK) or also known as Swordsman.
I personally use an Archer but I interviewed some of the powerful Swordsman in our server. When you are choosing an Ultimacy in the warrior shop the first thing to buy is “ABSOLUTE ZERO” probably for PVP/PVE purposes due to the massive damage the main skill can deal. Then buy “HP AURA” this will make your character durable during the fight, it will also help your team. Then buy “COMBUST” since that deals damage over time. Perfect for mobs and team fights. The rest will now be up to you, depending on your gameplay.
since we are done with Archers and Swordsman, let’s talk about mages 🙂
Mages are my biggest enemy in the game. Their damage is extremely powerful. Especially if you got the right ultimacy to enhance your skill. base on one of my friends (BoyTed of s59) who happens to be a mage, the first one you should buy is “WRITHE” because the impact of that ultimacy also affects those people that are running away from you. i honestly hate that skill.. it can kill me last minute. after getting writhe next thing you need to buy is “GLOWING” so that you can boost your attack as well as your team. the third one is “ICE WORLD” because of its AOE (area of effect) perfect when you are just starting and it is also good for PVP. The rest is up to on how you wanna build your character.
as you guys can see that most ultimacies per class can be bought in warrior shop. however, some of them are not available there. Don’t worry I will show you how you can get the other ultimacies.
TIP: before you go inside Lost City, communicate with your guildmates. strategize what portal you all will go in, remember even if you are fighting the strongest player in the server, a colony of ants can kill a large bug. TEAMWORK is the key.whenever my guild kills the 4th boss, my personal strategy is looking ASAP at the auction to see the loot. If it is something that I need, I would set an alarm clock so I would be notified about the end of bidding so I can bid for it and if it is something that is in demand then I will buy it.if you see the time left is just a few minutes to seconds, seal the deal by bidding for it, in this manner, you can get it for the lowest price possible. Now, if you know that the ultimacy is something rare to drop and people would go crazy in bidding for it? example: ABLUTION (MAGE), TEMPEST(SWORDSMAN), and ENCHANTING SPELL (ARCHER) these are ultimacies that players go crazy for. If you see it and you don’t want them to get to it first? buy it for 1k diamonds. it might look pricey but when they start a bidding war for it might become more pricey.
